Over the past decade, we've gotten our hands dirty on everything from century-old warehouses to cutting-edge green buildings. Each project's got its own story, and honestly, that's what keeps us coming back for more.

Distillery District Adaptive Reuse
Project Overview
Turning a 1890s distillery building into usable space is always tricky — you wanna respect what's there but also make it work for modern tenants. We spent months figuring out how to keep those exposed brick walls and timber beams while sneaking in proper HVAC and electrical. The hardest part? Convincing the heritage committee that our glass insertions would actually complement the original structure (spoiler: they do).

EcoTech Campus Phase II
Project Overview
This one's our pride and joy — hitting LEED Platinum isn't easy, but we got there. The client wanted a net-zero ready building that didn't look like a science experiment, so we went with clean lines and tons of natural light. The rooftop solar array generates about 60% of the building's power, and we installed a greywater recycling system that's honestly kinda ingenious. Staff love the indoor-outdoor workspaces we created on each floor.

Rosedale Passive House
Project Overview
Our clients wanted basically zero heating bills and a house that'd last forever — challenge accepted. Getting Passive House certification in Toronto's climate meant obsessing over every detail, from triple-pane windows to the placement of each electrical outlet (thermal bridges are real, folks). The upfront cost was about 12% more than conventional, but their energy bills are literally under $50/month. Plus the house just feels different — super quiet, no drafts, consistent temperature everywhere.
Technical Specs
Area: 3,200 sq ft
Completion: Spring 2023
Budget: $1.8M CAD
Wall Assembly: R-60 effective with Larsen truss system
Windows: Triple-pane, U-value 0.14
Airtightness: 0.35 ACH50
Heating Demand: 14 kWh/m²/yr
